Hi I'm Rosie

From our initial assessment with Rosie right through until our four year old daughters final speech lesson I was so impressed with Rosie and the service she offers.  Her gentle and kind nature meant she was able to gain our daughters trust quickly enabling her to focus on the lesson.  Rosie always made it fun and interactive.  So much so that our three year old daughter always asked when was it her turn to play with Rosie. Our daughter is gaining confidence all the time because her speech has improved so much she can be clearly understood.  Rosie was also able to provide us as parents with the skills to continue working on our daughters speech development by ourselves. I have no hesitation in recommending Rosie as a speech therapist and I will certainly be returning to her if I have any concerns regarding my other children's speech development.

Rosie is a committed professional who provides intelligent insight and advice and is always happy to try different strategies to reach the goal. Our son was four years old when we started the sessions and he was only able to name things, but after only a short time he was starting to ask for things and much more. James enjoyed the sessions and always looked forward to the next one! We are very grateful for all the work she has done and we strongly recommend her as a speech therapist.

Rosie is always enthusiastic, warm and engaging. She supported my son’s learning through a wide variety of activities and gave me so many tools and resources to also use at home. I always felt equipped and informed about my son’s development.  With her guidance he has made tremendous progress and I would strongly recommend her service! 

Our daughter had glue ear when she was younger and has been working with Rosie for a few years now. We’ve seen great results. Rosie has made it fun and easy for us as parents to support at home. She’s excellent at what she does and I would highly recommend her. 

Rosie has been amazing with my children. She has such a gentle and patient way with kids and truly makes “talking time” fun.  She has a huge range of resources and toys in her clinic and my children always looked forward to going.  Her passion for children is matched by her ability to explain and educate us on the theory and approaches used. We felt so supported in our speech therapy journey and would happily recommend Speak to Me! 

The team at Speak To Me are amazing! They are very through, innovative and engaging with the children that they work with.  Personally I have been so impressed with the outcomes with my child that I have recommended several friends to take their children along. Well worth a session to investigate what they do and how they can help your child!

Since being referred to Rosie we have seen a huge improvement in our daughter. Being on the autism spectrum and speaking next to no words she has blossomed into an engaging and happy little girl. Learning new ways to communicate and having more confidence to produce new words each week has been more than we can ask for. Positive, professional and friendly we highly recommend Rosie. 

We went to see Gemma with our son who was a couple of months off from starting school. He was having a lot of difficulty making certain sounds, which we attribute to countless ear infections and grommets. We had been to a speech therapist before but had limited progress. This was not the case with Gemma, he came on in leaps and bounds. She has the best approach with children, you can tell that she really likes children and enjoys her job. Our son looked forward to his sessions and had no idea that he was working towards speech goals. He speaks so clearly and beautifully now. Gemma cracked it! We cannot recommend her enough.
